Healing Saturday
It is a celebration of a small thing but will produce big rewards. Healing Saturday takes place at Feather-Craft Fly Fishing, 8307 Manchester Road in Brentwood, Missouri. The date is November 7, 2015 and the event runs 9am to 4pm and admission is free.
There will be fly tying and casting demos all day. You'll get a chance to learn all about creating your own tiny lures to catch your next lunker. Watch out for the super fly.
Missouri Troutbusters is co-sponsoring this event and its Founder, Chairman and Chef, James Wallace will be serving hot dogs with his famous home made chili. Troutbusters holds their popular Troutbusts twice a year and donates part of their proceeds to the St. Louis Chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF).
Healing Saturday will also feature a raffle and silent auction, which includes guided fishing trips to Montana and southern Missouri, sage fly rods, and many more great prizes.
There will be live music by Craig Jacobson and another band, to be announced and a meet and greet by the Rams cheerleaders from noon to 2pm.
Follow the action and join the conversation during Healing Saturday because there will be 25 other similar events taking place all over the country. The goal is to raise $100,000 in one day.
